as...as... (和...一樣...) 是英文中同等比較時常用的句型，也是在雅思寫作Task 1 很好用的句型之一。本篇統整此句型的基本型和變化型用法，讓同學一次了解喔~
(1) 基本型：as + 原級(形容詞/副詞)+ as... (和...一樣 )
Ex 1: Tom is as tall as my brother (is).
Tom 和我哥一樣高。
Ex 2: She can dance as well as Lisa (can).
她跳舞可以和Lisa 跳的一樣好。
(2) not as/so + 原級(形容詞/副詞) + as... (比...不如...)
Ex 1: I don't run as fast as my sister (does).
我跑的沒有姊姊快。
(在否定句中，原級形容詞/副詞前面的as可替換成so)
= I don't run so fast as my sister (does).
(3) as + 形容詞 + 名詞 + as... (和...一樣)
Ex 1: I have as many shoes as she (does).
我和她擁有一樣多的鞋。
(需注意的是，這裡的形容詞(many) 和 名詞(books)不可以分開，因為形容詞是用來修飾名詞的，所以若寫成：I have shoes as many as she.是錯誤的)
Ex 2: People living in Hong Kong currently use twice as many resources as residents in China.
目前香港居民使用的資源是中國居民的兩倍多。
(4) 倍數+ as ... as (...是...的幾倍)
Ex 1: This dog is twice as large as that one.
這隻狗是那隻狗的兩倍大。
Ex 2: That dog is half as large as this one.
那隻狗是這隻狗的一半大。
(補充：倍數的寫法 --- 兩倍的寫法為twice，兩倍以上的貝數則直接用times。例如：three times三倍)
Ex 3: Hong Kong ecological footprint is twice as large as China's.
香港的生態足跡是中國的兩倍多。
(需注意的是，Ex 3 中，China's 為China's ecological footprint 的意思，不可以只寫China，這樣會變成"Hong Kong ecological footprint"和"China"做比較，但兩者是不同的東西，無法比較。)
Ex 4: This book is one-third as long as that one.
這本書的長度是那本書的三分之一。
